Ubiq launches the second redeemable NFT
Ubiq is proud to present POSTER 1 — HODLER, the second NFT in the ERC1155 Redeemable Poster series.
Introduction
Ubiq is proud to present the second redeemable ERC1155 NFT on the Ubiq platform. This was drawn by the talented artist Bassment Rats.
This is available now for 200 UBQ and is only available in a limited quantity of 88. That’s right, only 88 will ever exist.

Since this is a digital asset, you can buy the poster and hold it. You have the freedom to redeem it later or transfer it to another address. While we don’t currently have a secondary market for NFTs for Ubiq (this is in the works), there is also the possibility to resell an unredeemed token.
POSTER 1 — HODLER is a 12 x 18 inch poster printed on museum quality matte paper. Every redeemed poster ships for free worldwide to any country which doesn’t have legal restrictions on imports (Cuba, Iran, Crimea, Syria, and North Korea).
The HODLER poster pays tribute to Ubiq and the crypto community with the concept of “Hodl” and being a “Hodler” of crypto. HODLER contains many elements of the wider Ubiq ecosystem such as Sparrow and Escher.
Artist statement
The world is changing fast, but the the internet world faster.
Nowadays people have the opportunity to be part of those changes through the Crypto world.
In a way people are getting the power back to their hands by cutting out the middleman and securing their ownerships.
As a creative person, I’m always looking for new ways and platforms to express my art and beliefs.
It took me some time to understand what the possibilities are, but after 10 years of peering into the crypto ecosystem, I can say that there is a new path that everybody should follow.

Update on the Poster Shop project
The response to the first Ubiq NFT was overwhelming.
I honestly expected the poster to linger around for weeks unsold. It was great to see that the Ubiq community has grown and that the poster sold out in 34 minutes!
A lot of preparation work was done to make it all work smoothly and safely. It all went through flawlessly and we even had to ship an update to add some Sold Out logic. We learned a lot and will be iterating on the Poster Shop web site with updates over time.
The undertaking of working with multiple artists for more posters is underway. This is a truly collaborative process and we look forward to bringing new art to the Ubiq community as well as showcasing some terrific artists. A lot of artists are gaining exposure to crypto and NFTs through Ubiq so this is great to see.
Projects like this can only go as far as the community supports us. It has been great to see redeemed posters framed and pictures shared on social media. Community support and enthusiasm means we can continue bringing more exciting projects to the Ubiq ecosystem.
We have more posters lined up and we are hard at work on a new generative art NFT project.
